China gives American angle to chopper crash

Team News Riveting

China has given a twist to the tragic incident that killed India’s Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat, his wife Madulika and 11 others near Coonoor in Tamil Nadu today afternoon.

Responding to a tweet of Brahma Chellaney, China’s state-affiliated media Global Times tweeted: This view is like suspecting the US played a role in the crash because India and Russia are moving forward with the delivery of a Russian S-400 missile defense system, which the US strongly opposed.”

Pakistan’s Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Lt Gen Nadeem Raza and Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa also offered their condolences on Gen Rawat’s “tragic death” and the loss of precious lives.
