The first Vendor Meet under the aegis of USSC (Unified Shared Service Centre) NTPC was held here today at Nava Raipur.
Ramesh Babu V, Director (Operations) NTPC Ltd virtually inaugurated the program.
A K Pandey, RED (WR II &USSC) in his address shared the roadmap of NTPC for procurement of material and services on PAN India basis. He also requested the vendors to develop their potential to meet the standards and requirement of NTPC.
The vendors were welcomed by Subhash Garg, GM(PPG-1) who briefed the functioning of Rate Contract, Enlistment and Bulk procurement under the umbrella of USSC.
Around 70 Vendors attended the meet; the prominent companies included BHEL, Siemens Ltd, L&T-MHI Power Boiler, GE Power India Ltd etc. There was an interactive session where valuable suggestions were provided by the participants and queries pertaining to various issues were deliberated upon in the open forum.
A K Tripathy, ED(OS), Ashish Kundu, CGM(CPG-1), K L Mahobe, GM (CPC) and other senior officials were present on the occasion.
