Eight IPS officers affected in Chhattisgarh reshuffle

Eight Indian Police Service (IPS) and a State Police Service (SPS) were affected in a reshuffle executed by the Chhattisgarh government on Thursday.

While the 2009-batch officer D Ravi Shankar has been transferred as Superintendent of Police in Jashpur, Santosh Singh (2010-batch) will be the new police chief of Korba.

Singh would succeed Bhojraj Patel (2013-batch), who had been transferred as new SP of Mahasamund. The 1998 SPS officer Prafulla Thakur will be the new Rajnandgaon SP.
