Central Coalfields Limited (CCL), the Jharkhand-based subsidiary of state-run Coal India Limited (CIL), has been granted ISO certifications in three categories that included 9001, 14001, and 45001.
ISO certification establishes a credibility within the stakeholders that the company meets the global standards for business.
ISO 9001 is a standard for quality management system, while 14001 is for environmental management system is an international standard for work and safety at work place. This certificate is a testimony of the company’s commitment towards continuous improvement in organizational processes.
Chairman-cum-Managing Director of the CCL, P M Prasad had congratulated Team CCL and expressed pleasure over the feat reported by the company.
