A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Indian Institute of Coal Management (IICM) and Indian Institute of Materials Management (IIMM) for conducting Professional Diploma Course in Contract Management for the executives of Coal India Limited.
Dr Kamakshi Raman, Executive Director inked the agreement on behalf of IICM while Shri H K Sharma, National President represented IIMM, which is enabler for Materials Management and Supply Chain Management professionals to face global cutting edge competitive challenges. The institute organizes Executive Development Programs, Seminars, Workshops, Customized in house training programs etc.,
With a view to address the need for enhancing skill and knowledge related to public procurement and contracts, as per the MoU, Professional Diploma Course in Contract Management shall be jointly conducted by IICM and IIMM for the executives of CIL in E-3 to E-6 grades.
Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline is the basic eligibility criteria for these executives. The first course shall be organized in FY 2022-23.
Mohit Jain, Manager (System) will be the Nodal officer from IICM to conduct the diploma course. G K Singh, Former National President, IIMM, A Rahman, CM(Civil); G K Vaishnav, CM (Environment); Mohit Jain Manager (System); Ms Tina Roy, Manager (Personnel); Sandeep Kumar, Deputy Manager (Finance) and Divyasanu Pandey, Deputy Manager (Civil) were also present on the occasion.
