A workshop on “Cyber Crime Awareness” was organized on 07th September at Convention Centre, CCL Headquarters, Ranchi. 

The workshop was inaugurated by Harsh Nath Mishra, Director (Personnel), CCL, Chief Vigilance Officer, S K Sinha along with SP (ITS), Ranchi Karthik S and State Bank of India Manager Purushottam Jha by lighting the lamp.

Addressing the workshop, CMD,CCL P M Prasad said that cybercrime was one of the most relevant issues in the contemporary world and everyone should be vigilant about cyber crime. He shared his personal experiences on the topic and encouraged people to use technology in a constructive way and report any crime or fraudulent activities to the authorities.

 Welcoming everyone, Director (Personnel) Harsh Nath Mishra said that we should seriously follow the instructions and instructions given by the cyber experts present in this workshop. Chief Vigilance Officer Shri S.K Sinha said that we must be aware about the various aspects of cybercrime for our safety.

Guest of honour, SP (ITS), Ranchi, Karthik S addressed the gathering and stressed on the various aspects of cybercrime and the preventive measures that persons should take to avoid becoming a victim of cyber fraud. He shared his experiences with the people. 

Manager, State Bank Of India Shri Purushottam Jha briefed the people about various facets of online banking, UPI etc.  He further stressed on the importance of opening the links received on emails, and messages carefully. 

In the workshop it was also mentioned that if someone becomes a victim of any cybercrime, they can immediately complain about it by calling 1930 or on cybercrime.gov.in portal..

General Managers/ HoDs of various departments and a lathe number of employees attended the workshop. General Manager (Systems) Vinay Shankar Maharaj welcomed all the guests who came to the workshop. Manager (Systems) Sundar Mohan Hansda and Gaurav Singh also made a powerpoint presentation.

The vote of thanks was proposed by Vinay Shankar Maharaj, General Manager (Systems). GM Systems along with his team played a major role in the successful organization of the workshop.
