Coal India medical conference concludes at CCL

Ranchi, September 18

The three-day Coal India Medical Conference organised by the Central Coalfields Limited concluded on Sunday.

The conference, which was inaugurated by CMD CCL P M Prasad along with Director (Personnel) Coal India Vinay Ranjan, witnessed over 160 doctors brainstorming and sharing their ideas and experiences.

The theme of the conference was “Discovering Medical Challenges in Post COVID Treatment and Resilience” Around 20 eminent guest speakers including Dr Professor S.K.Sarin from ILBS Hyderabad, Dr Rohini Handa from Indraprastha Apollo hospital shared their experiences.

In all, 26 doctors presented their papers on various topic.

During the valedictory session, winners in various categories were felicitated by ED CMS Coal India P K Behera, CMS CCL Dr DKL Chowhan, CMS CCL Dr Ratnesh Jain, CMS CCL Dr Utpala Chakarvarty, Dr Mita Paul, and CMS WCL Dr Sujata Sirmukaddam.

Dr Tanisha Ojha from CCL won the first prize in paper presentation, Dr Jitendra kumar in Live case study and Dr Arindam Banerjee from ECL won the chairman’s award.
