Manishi Singh, international badminton player from Chhattisgarh, has brought laurels to the state by winning a silver medal in the singles event of the All India Yonex-Sunrise Masters Ranking Badminton Tournament-2022.
The tournament was organized by the Badminton Association of India in Chennai. Manishi also won a bronze medal with Rupali Gupta of Maharashtra in the doubles event.
Earlier, Manishi has won bronze medals in the singles and doubles categories of the European Masters Badminton tournament held in 2019. Apart from this, in 2020-21, she has achieved gold medal in mixed doubles and silver medal in women’s doubles with her excellent performance in the All India Civil Services Badminton tournament.
Manishi is associated with the Education Department of Chhattisgarh government and is currently posted in the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education. She is wife of Amit Singh, General Manager, Corporate Affairs, Vedanta Aluminium.
