Plate Mill collective of SAIL-Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) has set best ever despatch record, breaking 12 year-old record on October Tuesday.
A new daily record has been created on Tuesday with the despatch of 6750 T in Plate Mill. This record has surpassed the previous best every daily despatch record of 6402 T set on March 25th, 2011. The new record has broken the earlier record set 12 years ago.
Despatch of 6750 T Plate loads was done successfully by a total of 111 wagons, 3 trolleys, the BSP said in a statement.
A new Shift record in loading has been created on Tuesday by loading 3300 T Plates using 55 wagons, surpassing the previous best record of 3050 T loading set on January 31st, 2011. It may be noted that a record in production of Finished Plates was set on October 03rd, 2022 by producing 6250 T, breaking the previous record of 5921 T set on September 28th, 2014.
Anirban Dasgupta, Director I/c (BSP) and Anjani Kumar, ED (Works) have congratulates the Plate Mill collective and associated departments for this achievement. R K Bisare, CGM (Plate Mill) congratulated RCL, T & D and Plate Mill team for setting the new records.
