MCL to provide skill training to 1000 youth

Under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) is set to provide skill-based training to 1040 youths of its operational areas in Odisha.

In this regard, MCL signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET), Bhubaneswar in presence of O P Singh, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Keshav Rao, Director (Personnel), P K Patel, Chief Vigilance Officer, J K Borah, Director (Technical/P&P) and other senior officers.

Under this initiative, skill development training in machine operator trades will be provided to the selected youths at the cost of Rs 10 crore. Youth from the operational areas of MCL will be benefited with this scheme.
