Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP), an entity of state-run Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), has achieved the ever best monthly EUR-Rakes despatch of 100 rakes in December 2022 surpassing the previous best of 91 rakes that have been achieved in the month of November 22.
Of the total quantity, URM has dispatched 82 no’s and RSM has dispatched 18 no’s of EUR- Rakes. This feat has been achieved by BSP (URM and RSM) with the help of associated departments like SMS-3, PPC, RCL, INCOS and T and D along with other allied agencies including RITES. Indian Railways has ensured the timely availability of 260 meter EUR rakes for loading of panels.
Anirban Dasgupta, Director I/c (BSP) along with Anjani Kumar, ED (W) of BSP visited URM and congratulated the URM and RSM collective for their excellent performance. P K Sarkar, CGM I/c (Services), Asit Saha, CGM I/c(M & U), Tapas Dasgupta, CGM I/c (Iron), S K Kar, CGM(Quality & SMS 3), Anish Sengupta CGM (URM), T Dastidar, CGM (RSM&RTS) and Malik Gopinath GM I/c (T&D) were present on the occasion.
They also acknowledged the support from Indian Railways for ensuring the timely availability of 260-mtr EUR rakes for loading.
