Aimed to impart quality education to the students, the Raipur district administration and Open Link Foundation signed on Thursday that will facilitate to improve the system in the district.
The partnership involves conducting a ‘Shikshak Sahayak Karyakaram’ using the Vinoba app in the district. The foundation’s team will offer guidance to teachers.
Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure highlighted a distinct innovation in education, stating it will enhance teacher efficiency and ease their workload, reducing unnecessary tasks. This approach aims to inspire teachers for improved performance.
Founder Trustee of the Foundation Sanjay Dalmiya shared that the Vinoba App goes beyond just providing teaching materials by offering teacher recognition and motivation. It enables field monitoring, data analysis, programme reviews, and school and teacher information input. Teachers can share activities, media, and videos through the app for cluster, block, and district officers’ review.
The app has three modules: TLM for teaching methods and course materials; Teacher Story for highlighting teachers’ achievements; and Circulars for essential communication. Dalmiya emphasised the self-motivated nature of the programme, which the District Collector praised as an educational innovation. The app consolidates all academic tasks into a platform and it can be downloaded for free.
District Mission Coordinator of Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, ADPO of Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA), Assistant Project Coordinator of Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, Block Education Officer, Block Resource Centre Coordinator, Principals, Cluster Coordinator, teachers, and Open Link Foundation members participated in the workshop. During the workshop, the participants were guided through the entire process of downloading and operating the Vinoba app.
