Hyderabad, October 18
Secretary of the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances and Department of Pension and Pensioners Welfare V Srinivas visited NMDC headquarters today along with his team to conduct a comprehensive review on the company’s initiatives under the Special Campaign 3.0.
He interacted with the senior management of NMDC to evaluate the outcomes of the Swachhata campaign and chalk out future plans. Srinivas appreciated NMDC’s efforts of engaging the citizens in the campaign and striving to build a paperless office.
He encouraged NMDC to plan a creative project with waste and scrap at its townships and run a mega awareness campaign on replacing plastic with more sustainable options such as Steel.
Nagendra Nath Sinha, Secretary Ministry of Steel along with Abhijit Narendra, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Steel also visited NMDC’s regional office in Delhi on Tuesday to review the ongoing Swachhata activities as part of the Special Campaign 3.0. He appreciated NMDC’s efforts towards keeping its offices, projects and township clean and hygienic.
The visits aimed at assessing NMDC’s role in the Special Campaign 3.0 and encouraging the public sector employees to continue their campaigns towards building a sustainable future.
