Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Wednesday morning made a suo motu statement and publicly apologised for his comments on sex education and sexiest comments in both the Houses of Bihar legislature.
Nitish said, “I condemn myself. I regret, I feel ashamed. I tender an unqualified apology. I am withdrawing my statement.” He apologised for his comments outside the legislature too.
Ms Nivedita Singh, a senior BJP legislator, wept in public while condemning Nitish for his alleged sexiest remarks in the House. She demanded Nitish to apologise to the women and not redefine sex education. Union minister of state for forests and environment, Ashwani Kumar Chaubey said B grade adult films have its effects in Nitish Kumar who insulted the women through his Sex Education.
National Commission for Women had asked Nitish to apologise to the women across the country for his regressive and insensitive comments in the Assembly. He was directed to tender an unqualified apology to the women of the country for his scurrilous remarks on women and sex education in the Bihar Assembly on Tuesday.
Former Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi rejected apology by Chief Minister and said Nitish Kumar had become mentally sick.
