The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has designed the action plan to expedite the announcement it had made in the election manifesto soon after assuming power in the month of December.

“The month of December will be decisive for the people of Chhattisgarh,” Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya told reporters at a press conference in Raipur while revealing the plan for next month. He listed out the priorities soon after the BJP government was formed on December 3.

“On December 3, the first cabinet will take a decision to provide houses to 18 lakh people,” he said. In the month of December itself, action will be taken against those who spoil the future of the youth by doing PSC scam. Besides, action against bookies of Mahadev App will start in the month of December itself

The issues of PSC and Mahadev App have emerged as the biggest poll planks in the Chhattisgarh assembly elections. Bhupesh Baghel government has been reportedly on the back foot as Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been referring to both the issues in most of his election meetings held in Chhattisgarh.

Mandaviya said farmers would start getting Rs 65,100 per acre in the month of December while a two years bonus will be given to the farmers on December 25. Mahtari Vandan Yojana, in which women are to be given Rs 12 thousand every year, will also be started in the month of December, he added.

The announcement of BJP is seen as a crucial shot ahead of the second phase of polling. The 70 assembly constituencies out 90 in the state will go to the second and final phase of polling on Friday.
