NTPC IPS-2024 in Raipur from February 13

The NTPC Limited is organizing ‘Indian Power Station O&M Conference, IPS-2024″ from February 13 to 15, 2024 at Raipur in Chhattisgarh to commemorate the anniversary of commissioning of the company’s first unit.

The power major, which has presently an installed capacity of 73,874 MW (including 15,986 MW through JVs/Subsidiaries), commissioned its first plant at Singrauli in Madhya Pradesh on February 13, 1982. NTPC Limited now has 51 power stations (27 coal based, 7 gas based, 1 hydro, 1 small hydro, and 15 solar PV) and 39 Joint Venture/Subsidiary stations (9 coal based, 4 gas based, 8 hydro, 1 small hydro, 14 solar PV and 4 wind).

The IPS-2024 conference is scheduled to be inaugurated by Union Minister for Power, New and Renewable Energy R K Singh at 10:00 hours at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium in Raipur. Chhattisgarh. The event is to be graced by senior officials from Power Ministry, CEA, CERC, NTPC and others.

The inauguration session will be followed by technical sessions and exhibition. The conference provides an opportunity for energy professionals, researchers, manufacturers, service providers and engineers to share their O&M experiences, information on emerging technologies and best industry practices. Over the years, JPS received an overwhelming response from delegates from India as well as from other countries around the world.
