NTPC IPS-2024 concludes on grand note in Chhattisgarh

The three-day Indian Power Stations O&M Conference 2024 (IPS-2024) hosted by NTPC Limited in Raipur, Chhattisgarh concluded on a grand note on Thursday.

On the concluding day, the event featured Sessions by Vendors Area Wise, Techno Galaxy interaction, and Presentations by USSC and COS. Later, an Open House Interaction with vendors was conducted wherein NTPC Senior officials K S Sundaram, Director (Projects & Operations); C Sivakumar, RED (WR-II, USSC & Ash NI); Arindam Sinha, ED (OS) and Ravindra Kumar, OSD to Director (Operations) interacted and replied queries from vendors.

The three-day mega event comes to an end with the distribution of Techno Galaxy Awards in the category of Vendors and NTPC. A total of 60 stalls were installed at Techno Galaxy exhibition. The winners are as below:

Vendor Category: Winner – Sureflow Techon PVT LTD, first runner up – PPS International and second runner up – Aswartha Asset Management Solutions.

NTPC Category: Winner – ER-1, first runner up runner up – SR and second runner up – NI Ash and Ash Technology

The conference has been inaugurated virtually by the Union Minister for Power and New and Renewable Energy, R K Singh on Tuesday. The theme for the 2024 edition of IPS is “Operations and Maintenance Practices for Safe, Reliable & Cost-Effective Power Generation”.

The flagship event commemorates the historic commissioning of the first unit of NTPC at Singrauli in 1982, marking a pivotal moment in the power sector’s trajectory, leading to decades of innovation and excellence.

IPS 2024 serves as a platform for industry leaders to engage in collaborative discussions to explore innovative strategies to enhance safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness in power generation.
