BJP goes offensive on farmers’ issue

Patna, December 11

Following failures of series of talks between the Union government and the agitating farmers, BJP has now decided to go on an aggressive campaign from tomorrow.

Union law, Justice and IT minister Ravi Shankar Prasad would be visiting his constituency Patna Saheb for two days beginning Saturday. He would address a conference of kisans at Bakhtiarpur by organising Kisan chaupal.

BJP will have 700 public meetings throughout the country and Kisan chaupals at 250 places. BJP leaders, its MPs and legislators would explain the government stand on three bills and grill the opposition parties for allegedly inciting the farmers.

The office bearers of the BJP would address press conferences at state and district headquarters and highlight the benefits of the three farm legislations.

Party would also release advertisements to explain the provisions of the Acts and expose the forces behind the agitation.
