SAIL- Bhilai Steel Plant’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Department is distributing the National flag “Tiranga”, as part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan’ initiative under the banner of ‘Aazadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ at various departments of the Plant, and schools of Bhilai, BSP’s Mines.
This initiative aims at delivering the Tricolour to every household, every doorstep, and every hand, even in the remotest forest areas of Rowghat, Narayanpur, to the people including various security forces, Border Security Force, Police, Schools, Government Hospitals and Panchayat Members.
Under the Har Ghar Tiranga under BSP, as many as 5,000 National Flags have been procured from the Department of Posts, Government of India. These are being distributed by BSP’s CSR Department to every house in every village in and around its areas of operations, to help them celebrate the 78th Independence Day with zeal and fervour.
