President Droupati Murmu smiles! But not for photograph but for receiving a photo album that Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and his wife Kaushalya Devi presented to her.
The President was on a two-day Chhattisgarh visit that ended Saturday evening. In her honour, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai hosted a luncheon at his new residence in Nava Raipur. All arrangements were made according to the President’s taste that included delicious Oriya dishes also.
But what touched the President more amidst hospitality was a photo album carrying printed photographs of Murmu capturing her two days visit and also a photo frame containing pictures of her with the family members of the Chief Minister.
Seeing the photos in the photo album and frames, the President was elated, which can be clearly seen in the viral photo. The memories of the Chhattisgarh visit and the programs attended in two days have now become permanent,” the President said.
It is noteworthy that the pictures in the albums and frames presented to the President included photos of communication with students, devotional glimpses at Lord Jagannath’s temple and photos related to public welfare schemes in Muktangan besides photos with Chief Minister’s family that were included instantly.
