Chhattisgarh State Foundation Day Rajyotsav 2024 started Monday with a grand presentation of Chhattisgarh cultural programmes.
A group of Chhattisgarh artists gave more than one performance from the main stage of the Rajyotsav Ground in Nava Raipur and mesmerized the audience. The fair ground has been beautifully decorated for the three-day Rajyotsav. Thousands of people came to enjoy the cultural programmes organized here and to see the exhibition.
Rajyotsav 2024 was inaugurated by Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Dr Mohan Yadav. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai presided over the inauguration programme. Besides Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao and Vijay Sharma, Chhattisgarh Ministers, MPs, MLAs and other public representatives were present on the occasion.
Even before the start of the Chhattisgarh Rajyotsav, the round of cultural programmes started. Well-known Chhattisgarh folk artist S. Lakshman Masturiha’s songs were performed very well. The team of Rikhi Kshatriya gave a brilliant presentation through dialogue, song and dance of the Tij-festival and folk festival-based programmes organized in different months in the state of Chhattisgarh.
His team enthralled the audience with a mesmerizing performance of different pujas along with Suva Nritya and Karma Nritya. The audience applauded all the performances of Rikhi Kshatriya’s team.
Prior to this, the performance of Dhola-Maru based on Rajni Rajak’s folk tale, the story of Reva-Perva Jadugarni in singing mode and the performance of Adi Vrindam and Chandrabhushan Varma presented by Mahendra Chauhan and Saathi were well received by the audience.
