Pradeep Tandon has been appointed as the Chairman of Chhattisgarh State Chapter of PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) for the Presidential Year 2024-25.

Tandon has 32 years of experience in the entire gamut of Business Management with focus on External Affairs and operations to ensure production efficiency, quality, service, cost-effective management of resources. He is working as President in Jindal Steel and Power and located at Raipur since July 2018.

PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry has been working as a catalyst for the promotion of Indian industry, trade and entrepreneurship for the past 119 years. It is a forward looking, proactive and dynamic PAN-India apex organization.

As a partner in progress with industry and government, PHDCCI works at the grass roots level with strong national and international linkages for propelling progress, harmony and integrated development of the Indian economy; reaching out to more than 1,50,000 large, medium and small industries across multiple sectors to take Indian Economy to the next level.

At the global level, PHDCCI has been working with the Embassies and High Commissions in India and overseas to bring in the International Best Practices and Business Opportunities.

PHDCCI is a National Apex Chamber having its international office at Bahrain for 6 GCC countries. PHDCCI has co-opted National and International Industry Associations and Organisations through over 100 MoUs signed between the parties.’’

In its endeavour towards capacity building in the country, PHD Chamber organises focussed entrepreneurial development training programmes in cooperation with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation of Germany.

The Chamber has its headquarters in Delhi and regional offices in all states except Tamil Nadu, Orissa and West Bengal.

Earlier, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) East zone had appointed Pradeep Tandon as Chairman of its skill development sub-committee for the year 2022-23. Chhattisgarh government had previously appointed him as a member of its skilling Committee.
