Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai planted a neem sapling in the premises of CRPF Bastariya Battalion 241 Battalion on Tuesday under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign.
Sai said that the campaign was a unique effort of Prime Minister Narendra Modi towards environmental protection, in which people had been giving their participation spontaneously. The Chief Minister called upon everyone to plant a sapling and take care of it.
He said that by planting trees they not only protect the environment, but also give the gift of clean air and healthy environment to future generations.
The Chief Minister surprisingly reached the camp of CRPF Bastariya Battalion after the meeting of Bastar Development Authority and spent the night. Security force personnel of CRPF Bastariya Battalion were present during the tree plantation.
