Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir Nirman Nidhi Samarpan Samiti would reach out to all the 19,600 villages in Chhattisgarh for collecting contribution for the construction of magnificent temple and other facilities in Ayodhya.
A state-level unit of the Samiti has been constituted to carry out the campaign and involve people from Chhattisgarh’s every village for the temple construction. The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) “karyakartas” will assist the Samiti members.
“In a meeting held to discuss the action plan for Chhattisgarh, it has been decided to cover each and every village of the state,” organising secretary of VHP and national co-convenor of Samiti Vinayak Rao Deshpande said. Chhattisgarh would be among the first five states for the contact campaign, he added.
The collections would be made by coupons printed in the denomination of Rs 10, Rs 100 and Rs 1000. The contribution for Rs 2000 or more shall be against receipt and the donor shall have the benefit of Section 80G of the Income Tax Act.
Every depositor will have a registered code number at the nearest branch of one of the three banks namely State Bank of India, Bank of Baroda and Punjab National Bank. Full transparency would be maintained in the collection.
Larsen and Toubro have been engaged to construct the Temple. Tata Consultancy services would be the Engineers for the construction. Engineers from IIT Mumbai, IIT Delhi, IIT Chennai, IIT Guwahati, CBRI Roorkee, Larsen and Toubro are working on the foundation drawing. The whole temple will be of stone blocks.
The Temple would have a total area of 2.7 acres. The construction area is 57,400 sq. ft. The length of the Temple would be 360 ft with 235 ft. The Temple would be three storied structures and with 5 Mandaps. The number of columns would be 160 on the Ground Floor, 132 on the First Floor and 74 on the Second Floor.
It is expected that by 2024 Shri Ram Lala will be established in the sanctum sanctorum of the main Temple.
Along with the Temple are to come up, of the international standards Library, Archives, Museum, Research Centre, Yagyashala, Ved Pathshala, Satsang Bhawan, Prasad distribution centre, amphitheatre, Dharamshala, Exhibition and other facilities.
