Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Wednesday paid rich tributes to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his 100th birth anniversary.
Sai reached Avanti Vihar Chowk in the capital Raipur and garlanded the statue of former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee on the occasion of his birth anniversary that is marked as Good Governance Day. On the occasion, Sai said that Atal ji was a great politician who respected the sentiments of the people of Chhattisgarh.
Atal ji’s leadership, vision and his commitment to public service are a source of inspiration for all of them. His policies and ideas gave a new direction to India.
The Chief Minister said Chhattisgarh was moving towards rapid development only by realizing the dreams of Atal ji. On the special occasion of Atal ji’s birth centenary, the Chief Minister said that by following the values of Atal ji, they all should contribute to nation building.
Chhattisgarh Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, MLAs Purandar Mishra, Sunil Soni, Motilal Sahu, Rajesh Munat along with other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
