NTPC Green Energy Limited on Wednesday announced incorporation of a subsidiary with the state-run Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RVUNL).
“It is hereby informed that “NTPC RAJASTHAN GREEN ENERGY LIMITED”, a subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited, has been incorporated on 08.01.2025 as 74:26 joint venture of NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) and Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RVUNL), a Government of Rajasthan Undertaking,” NGEL said in a regulatory filing today.
The power major had Tuesday announced the incorporation of a new wholly owned subsidiary, NTPC Parmanu Urja Nigam Limited (NPUNL) as company forays into nuclear business.
NTPC is taking various steps to make its energy portfolio greener by adding significant capacities of Renewable Energy(RE) Sources. By 2032, the company plans to have 60GW capacity through RE sources constituting nearly 45 per cent of its overall power generation capacity.
