Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai along with state’s who’s who took a holy dip on Thursday in the ongoing Maha Kumbh at Prayagraj.

State Governor Ramen Deka, Speaker of Legislative Assembly Raman Singh, cabinet ministers of the state, Members of Parliament from Chhattisgarh, Members of Legislative Assembly, senior leaders of the ruling BJP also took holy dip along with the Chief Minister at Triveni Sangam. In a special 180-seater chartered plane, the dignitaries flew to Prayagraj from the Chhattisgarh capital.

Speaking to reporters before the departure, Sai expressed gratitude to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the Speaker of the UP legislative assembly for inviting him to attend the Maha Kumbh.

After landing in Prayagraj, they went to Triveni Sangam by boat. Chief Minister’s wife Kaushalya Devi accompanied him while taking holy dip and performing the rituals and puja at the Sangam. Sai performed the puja for the welfare and prosperity of the state and its people.

After taking the holy dip at Triveni Sangam, Sai visited the Chhattisgarh Pavilion set up in the Maha Kumbh area and interacted with devotees from the state and reviewed the arrangements made for them.

Under the initiative of the Chief Minister, a dedicated Chhattisgarh Pavilion (Mandap) has been set up at the Prayagraj Maha Kumbh. The objective of this initiative is to ensure a well-organized, safe, and comfortable experience for devotees from Chhattisgarh, allowing them to complete their pilgrimage with spiritual peace and devotion.

The pavilion offers free accommodation and food services for devotees from Chhattisgarh. Separate lodging arrangements have been made for men and women, ensuring their convenience and comfort throughout their stay.
