Parampal Singh of Chhattisgarh won the silver medal in the Skeet individual event of shooting in the 38th National Games that started in Uttarakhand from January 28,
In the National Shooting Competition held in Rudrapur, Dehradun, Parampal of Chhattisgarh secured the second position by scoring 51 points in the men’s Skeet event and won the silver medal.
Ten shooters from Chhattisgarh were selected by the Chhattisgarh State Rifle Association in which the performance of all the players was very good. All the players selected from the association were nominated on the basis of previous records, achieved score and best ranking.
Parampal has been shooting for the last 22 years. He has won many medals in many National Games before this. He has won gold medal in National Games Jharkhand 2011 and bronze medal in National Games Kerala. And now by winning silver medal in shooting for Chhattisgarh, he has set an example for the shooters of Chhattisgarh and brought laurel for the state.
The officials of Chhattisgarh State Rifle Association have congratulated Parampal for the victory.
