Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai visited and worshipped Guru Gaddi on the first day of the Gurudarshan Mela organized at Giroudpuri Dham.

He prayed for the welfare, happiness and prosperity of the people of the state. On the demand of the Mela committee, the Chief Minister announced to increase the allocation of Giroudpuri Mela from Rs 25 lakh to Rs 50 lakh. He also sanctioned the plan to construct a permanent shed from the main entrance of the Mela premises to the temple for the convenience of the devotees.

The Chief Minister himself distributed prasad to the devotees after visiting the temple. On this occasion, religious leader Gurubaldas Saheb, former Assembly Speaker Gauri Shankar Agarwal, Cabinet Minister Dayal Das Baghel, Inspector General of Police Amresh Mishra, Collector Deepak Soni, SSP Vijay Agarwal and a large number of saints and devotees were present.

It is noteworthy that the three-day Giroudpuri Mela will be held from March 4 to March 6. The event, which is organized every year in Giroudpuri Dham, is becoming a medium to spread the message of truth, non-violence and equality of Guru Ghasidas ji to the people.
