In all, 450 delegates of the 1500 eligible would be physically attending the Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS 2021) of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) that would start here on Friday.

The Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh of the RSS, Arun Kumar gave an overview of the ABPS and its agenda at a press conference organised today. He said that due to the prevailing COVID situation, only 450 representatives of RSS would be physically attending the ABPS this year instead of 1500 delegates. The ABPS 2021 would be held for two days instead of the normally scheduled three days.

The Pratinidhi Sabha is the apex body of the RSS.

RSS has 11 zones called Kshetras which are further organised as 44 working units called Prants. Many delegates from these Kshetras and Prants would attend the ABPS online. Akhil Bharatiya Karyakari Mandal started Wednesday and would conclude on March 18, in which the agenda of ABPS along with resolutions to be proposed would be finalised.

The ABPS would start on March 19 at 8.30 am and conclude on March 20. During the meet, RSS would review the work done in the last 3 years and deliberate on the work to be done in the next 3 years. It would also discuss the expansion of Sangh Karya 9 (work) across the country, Arun Kumar said.
