For the corporate, its’ not the battle confine to the fields when it comes to the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020).
The big corporate houses of India that own IPL team are trying utmost to outdo each other even off the field. The billionaire owners are booking best of the hotels for its players in Dubai for the IPL 2020.
As one sports commentators said: “The Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) is rightly called as the world’s most lucrative cricket league in the world.”
The owners are not comprising to accord grandeur and luxury stay for its team. And there is a competition among different corporate groups. For the teams, some of the world’s most luxurious hotels and resorts have been booked.
The tariff of the luxury hotel rooms range from 30,000 a night to 75,000 per night.
All the IPL teams are booked to stay at lavish 7 star properties in Abu Dhabi and & Dubai. Most of the franchises have made arrangements for their players at the Beach-front hotels. The Oberoi, Dubai, will be the official hotel for the BCCI members and its staff.
Reliance’s promoters owned Mumbai Indians would be staying at St Regis, Sadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi while Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led Chennai Super King owner by India Cements would check-in at Taj Dubai. The ultimate luxury hotel is just adjacent to Burj Khalifa. CSK has booked one complete floor at the hotel for its team.
The Sunrisers Hyderabad owned by Sun TV group would stay at Ritz Carlton, Dubai; nestled on a private beach, Designed to emulate the low-rise buildings of the Mediterranean, the luxury resort features sea-facing guest rooms and suites, a dedicated Club Lounge, a wealth of culinary experiences, leisure facilities will welcome the Sunrisers.
United Spirits’ the Royal Challengers Bengaluru would stay in Dubai’s Waldorf Astoria. The Hilton property calls itself as haven within the vibrant city of Dubai. The Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah boasts a private soft-sanded beach, six distinct restaurants and lounges and elegant sea-facing guest rooms and suites.
