Anil Kumar Pandey today took over as the Regional Executive Director (RED) of National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC)’s Western Region-II and Unified Shared Services Centre (USSC) based in Chhattisgarh’s capital.
Prior to his new assignment, Pandey was heading the Western Region-I (WR-I) and Unified Shared Services Centre based at Mumbai. Carrying a vast experience in the power sector, Pandey joined NTPC as an ET in the year 1984 and had effective discharged his duties in various areas like Mech Maintenance, P&S, Mech Erec and Project Construction at country largest power producer.
Pandey has worked at various stations of NTPC that included Vindhyachal, BCPP Korba, Singrauli, Dadri, Rihand and Mouda. In 2017, he headed NTPC Gadarwara as HOP and in 2020 he joined WR-I, Mumbai as RED.
He will be heading the Western Region –II and Unified Shared Services Centre based at WR-II HQ Nava Raipur. The entire team of WR-II HQ and USSC welcomed the new RED and extended their best wishes for his new assignment.
