Adani Foundation Tamnar successfully organized a mega health camp in village Kunjemura.
This was the third mega health camp organized in the area, following Milupara and Khamharia, where hundreds of villagers benefited from health services. The camp was held from 11 am to 4 pm at Kunjemura Basti. The main objective of this initiative was to raise awareness about health among the villagers and address their health problems. Doctors from medical colleges and private practice provided their services at the camp.
A team of specialist doctors in various diseases provided consultations for skin, bone, eye, obstetrics, dental, and general illnesses at the camp. Free medicines were distributed to patients, and free spectacles were provided to 34 beneficiaries. Additionally, services like blood tests, sugar checks, and weight measurements were also provided free of charge at the camp.
A total of 157 patients benefited from the health camp. Necessary follow-up facilities will be provided to needy patients in the future. The local community appreciated this initiative and suggested organizing such camps in the future.

The chief guest of the health camp was Bihari Lal Patel, representative of Lailunga MLA, while former Sarpanch Jaipal Bhagat was present as the special guest. Mukesh Kumar, Cluster Head of Adani Natural Resources Tamnar, Bipin Kumar Singh, Site Head of Gare Pelma 2, Raghavendra Sharma, Head of Land Department, and members of the CSR department were also present on this occasion.
Adani Group, through Adani Foundation, is conducting various CSR activities in Tamnar and Pusaur blocks of Raigarh district, including programs such as education, health, women empowerment, livelihood enhancement, and infrastructure development. Through this initiative, people of more than 100 villages are getting better facilities in the field of health and education.
Through this successful event, Adani Foundation has taken another significant step towards strengthening rural health services.
