Ambuja Cements, the cement and building material company of Adani Cement, part of Adani Group wins the National Award for Energy Excellence in Indian Cement Industry, under the Grinding Category for the measures adopted in improving energy efficiency at the Roorkee plant.
The award instituted by the National Council for Cement and Building Materials was given during the 17th NCB National Conference on 9th December 2022 in New Delhi from Som Prakash, Minister of State, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.
The Company also presented a paper titled ‘Correlation of Chemistry and Process Parameters on Formation of Alite in Portland Clinker’ at the Conference which was adjudged as the best paper in the category ‘Productivity Enhancement and Process Optimization’.
