Yuva Shiv Sena President Aditya Thackrey on Wednesday claimed no Bihari was attacked or harassed in Mumbai during the government led by his father Udhav Thackrey.
Talking to media persons outside 1, Anney Marg residence of the Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar, former Minister of Maharashtra said, “Those who used to attack Biharis are with the BJP. Ask them?”
Aditya along with Priyanka Chaturvedi and Anil Desai called on Nitish and Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Prasad Yadav. He claimed both of them are contemporaries, have vision, long way to go into politics (Lambi race ke Ghoda Hain).
According to him, the two leaders talked on development, setting up new industries in Bihar.
Tejashwi said they discussed on opposition unity against the BJP, which used central agencies and money power to dislodge the Udhav-led government in Maharashtra.
He said the exchange of ideas that started today would continue and he would go to meet Udhav in Mumbai.
Political observers here claimed meeting between the CM, Deputy CM of Bihar and young Shiv Sena leader is part of the unite opposition against BJP for 2024 elections started by Nitish. The Junior Thackrey had joined Maharashtra leg of Bharat Jodo Yatra of Rahul Gandhi recently.
After his three hours stay here, he returned to Mumbai in a chartered flight.
