Prof (Dr) Piyush Kant Pandey, Vice-Chancellor, Amity University Chhattisgarh on Tuesday official inaugurated the Annual Techno- Cultural Fest ‘AmiSpark 2023’.
At the inaugural event held at the auditorium, Dr Varaprasad Kolla, DSW and Convener ‘AmiSpark 2023’ gave the welcome address that was followed by Saraswati Vandana. ‘Ganesh Vandana’ was performed by Ms. Asmita Tiwari, a student of BBA.
Prof. (Dr.) Piyush Kant Pandey in his address said today was an auspicious day as it was the birth anniversary of legendary poet and writer Rabindranath Tagore. He said Amity University believed in complete development of the students apart from academic and through co-curricular activities.
Citing the lines from the famous poem “Where the mind is without fear” by Rabindranath Tagore, he advised the students not to do anything undesirable. There is no boundary of knowledge and where reasoning should be kept clear. Prof. Pandey also advised the students to respect time and focus on utilizing it at its best in order to achieve success in life.
AmiSpark is a Three-Day Fest (May 09-11, 2023) with a bunch of new and stimulating events where students all over the state will be participating to showcase their talent and skills. The various event of the gala fest include Ad Mad Show, Amivibe – the music fiesta, Amity Battleground Series, Clue-Minati, Comedy Sutra, Corporate Roadies, Nakabposh, Drain Your Brain, Ek Jut, Abhikalp, Fashion Show, Funathlon, Gaze the Maze, Face off Royale, Rhythh Riot, Heatwaves, Dance Drama the D-D Show, Lex Clip, The Rope Warriors, Mobile Photography, Munch Ka MuQadar, Digital Photography, Poetry Recitation, Reel Drill, Sparkthon, Survival 3.0, Timetrica, Watch Out, Youngest Fashion Influencer and others. Students of the university and other institutes of repute within the state will also be participating in the events.
