Amity Law School, Amity University Chhattisgarh in association with District Legal Services Authority Raipur organized a workshop on ‘Family Court’ today on April 28, 2023.
Chief guest of training programme Hemant Saraf, Principal Judge, Family Court, Raipur while interacting with the law students said Constitution had been the supreme authority and the law professional should give justice according to law. “Our duty is not to interpret the law,” he added .
Justice Saraf also enlighten the philosophy of Charvaka and its relevance for law and justice. Justice Saraf added ‘Maithya’ is neither truth nor false, court work on Mithya till there is no evidence against the accuse he/she is neither consider as guilty nor innocent. He also added after the death of human being his/her legacy becomes wisdom for education.
Special guest of the workshop Om Prakash Sahu, Civil Judge (Class I) is his address to law students explain the importance of protecting oneself from cybercrime and advice students before posting personal details, check who can access your data. He also added effective use of mobile and internet to gain knowledge is essential in the digital age.
Prof. (Dr.) Piyush Kant Pandey, Vice-Chancellor, Amity University Chhattisgarh in his address said the significance of family courts in resolving family disputes, promoting peace and maintaining social harmony in Indian society. Prof. Pandey added this workshop is a best platform for participants to gain insights into the legal framework of Family Courts, the nature of cases that come before them, and the procedures involved in dealing with such cases.
