After reports of Prime Minister, All India Congress Committee President, Bollywood stars being vaccinated against corona at primary health service center at Karpi in Arwal district, yet another fake vaccination scam involving the names of Chief Ministers of Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, former Chief Minister Rabri Devi and Bihar health minister Mangal Pandey has come to light.
Doctor KK Rai, civil surgeon of Gaya, said on Tuesday the names of Yogi Adityanath, Hemant Soren, Rabri Devi, Health minister Mangal Pandey has been shown as vaccinated against covid 19 at Alipur PHC in Tekari block of Gaya district, 35 km from Karpi, Arwal.
Their names were uploaded on the Government of India site too.
According to Dr Rai, an FIR has been lodged at Tekari police station against two people, both data operators. The health officer claimed two mobile numbers registered in Jammu and Kashmir were used to generate fake OTPs which are needed for registering the names and details of those who have taken the vaccine. These two SIMs are registered in the name of Tufail Yasim and Navar Jajim of Srinagar.
Health minister Mangal Pandey told the Free Press Journal the data entry operators had, in an attempt to achieve the target assigned to them, manipulated the data which they were supposed to enter in the system.
Pandey said instructions have been issued to arrest the guilty operators. He added that if any senior officers were found to be negligent, action would be taken against them too.
Instructions have been issued to all DMs to scrutinize the entries at all PHCs. He claimed over 12 crore people in Bihar have been vaccinated.
Arwal District Magistrate has filed an FIR against the two data entry operators at Karpi police station as they had forged the names of the Prime Minister, Home minister, Congress president, Bollywood stars as beneficiaries of the vaccination program.
