Chitrakoot, July 11
The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) today made an important organisational reshuffle; deputing Sah Sarkaryawah to coordinate with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
In other terms, Arun Kumar would act as a bridge between the BJP and the RSS as Sampark Adhikari. The position was earlier held by Sah Sarkaryawah Krishna Gopal.
The decision was taken in the on-going five-day meeting of the Akhil Bharatiya Prant Prachar Baithak’ that started in Chitrakoot on Friday. The meeting is being attended by senior RSS functionaries, including Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat, sarkaryawah Dattatreya Hosable and all five sah-sarkaryawah (joint general secretaries).
Born in April 1964 in East Delhi, Arun Kumar has been associated with the RSS from his childhood. At an age of 18 years, he decided to dedicate his life to the society and became the Pracharak (full-timer) of RSS. He had served in Haryana, Delhi and Jammu and Kashmir in different organisations in different organisational capacities.
He later became the Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh of the RSS to coordinate with the media. In March, he was appointed as Sah Sarkaryawah with his headquarters in New Delhi.
