BJP on Saturday put its entire cadre and leaders to ensure safe movement of Swami Dhirendra Shastri Bageshwar Baba who had received threats from the RJD leaders who had even warned him of being arrested.

In the afternoon, two Union Ministers Giriraj Singh and Ashwini Kumar Chaubey, leader of opposition Vijay Kumar Sinha, state BJP President Samrat Chaudhury, party MPs from Patliputra, Ramkripal Yadav and Patna Saheb, Ravishankar Prasad escorted him to Taret Pali, 20 km from Patna where he would be giving discourse till May 17.
Bageshwar Baba told media persons he was engaged in his mission Hindu Rashtra and always advocated for Hindus.
Organisers of the discourse sent invitations to the Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar to listen to the Baba. State government sent alert notices to the police fearing terror attack on the Baba. Over 50 magistrates and 1.000 policemen have been deployed at the Taret Paali grounds.
BJP leaders sought blessings from the Baba.
