The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Director of Bharat Aluminium Company Limited (BALCO), Rajesh Kumar inaugurated the renovated Mangal Bhawan located in the township.
Officials, employees and representatives of various unions were present on the occasion. Kumar said that BALCO had always been committed to the overall development of its community and the renovation of Mangal Bhawan was an important example of this concept.
The building has now been developed as a multi-purpose community building with modern facilities. Its aim is to provide better facilities to the employees and a well-organized and convenient place for social, cultural and family events.
After the renovation of Mangal Bhavan, there has been a significant change in its appearance. Special attention has been paid to cleanliness and lighting while making the interior and exterior of the building attractive. Now the building is not only beautiful to look at but also very convenient to use.
Mangal Bhavan now has a gym facility to promote health awareness so that young, old and women can all take care of their health. Along with this, indoor games like carrom and table tennis have been arranged for sports, which are a good means of entertainment and socializing for all.
The building will also be available for weddings, family functions, social events and other community events. For this, all basic facilities like water, washroom, electricity have been ensured so that there is no inconvenience during the events. Equipped with modern facilities, this building has now become a reliable and accessible event venue.
