BALCO Hospital at Korba in Chhattisgarh has been equipped with modern facilities for plastic and reconstructive surgery.
The hospital’s new plastic surgeon Dr C Sai Kumar will now provide state-of-the-art plastic and cosmetic surgery services to patients. Now modern services for complex surgeries related to face and body will be available at BALCO Hospital.
Dr Kumar is an acclaimed specialist in plastic and reconstructive surgery. He completed his DRNB training from Shija Hospital and Research Institute, Imphal. With six years of experience, he has expertise in facial reconstruction surgery, treatment of congenital deformities such as cleft lip, corrective surgery after burns, treatment after trauma and accident and cosmetic surgery.
Dr Vivek Sinha, Chief Medical Officer of BALCO, said that with the joining of the new specialist, patients will no longer need to go to big cities for plastic surgery. Surgery not only gives the desired change, but it also increases self-confidence, he said, adding that through the surgery, nose, face, cheeks, ears, chin, lips and breast can be given a perfect shape. Along with this, the lost face and lost confidence of the people affected due to accidents or serious diseases also returns, Dr Sinha added.
He said that the objective of BALCO Hospital is to provide the best health services to the people of the district near their homes. In plastic surgery, tissue from any part of the body is taken and another part is repaired, so that the body of any woman or man can be given an attractive and new look.
