The BALCO Hospital located in Chhattisgarh’s Korba district has launched a dialysis unit with the aim of providing relief to kidney patients.
The dialysis unit was inaugurated by Ms. Deshani Naidu, CEO Vedanta Resources. Rajesh Kumar, Chief Executive Officer of BALCO along with other officials were present on the occasion.
The establishment of this state-of-the-art unit will provide accessible and high-quality medical facilities to patients who require regular dialysis, a statement issued by the Vedanta Limited-controlled company said. The BALCO Hospital has been providing quality healthcare services in the region for years.
With the launch of the dialysis unit, kidney patients will no longer have to travel to other cities for better treatment. The latest machines and technologies have been used in this unit, which will provide world-class healthcare services to the patients.
Dr Vivek Sinha, Chief Medical Officer of BALCO Hospital, said that the establishment of the unit would be of special benefit to those patients who needed regular dialysis due to chronic kidney disease (CKD) or other kidney related problems. The unit is fully equipped with trained doctors, specialists and nursing staff, who will ensure the best possible care of the patients. Many modern medical facilities are already available in the hospital, and now starting a dialysis unit will be of great benefit to kidney patients.
