Annual ‘Utsav Mela-2025’ was grandly organized by Ladies Club of Bharat Aluminum Company Limited (BALCO).
Rajesh Kumar, CEO of BALCO and Mrs. Manisha Kumar, President of BALCO Ladies Club inaugurated the event by cutting the ribbon. Organized to celebrate the club’s glorious 52 years of achievements and rich heritage, the fair has become a symbol of unity, enthusiasm and community engagement for the BALCO family.
More than 500 members of the BALCO family enthusiastically participated in the fair and enjoyed various cultural performances and family entertainment. People of every age group were full of energy and enthusiasm in the fair. More than 20 stalls have been set up in the fair, with delicacies, traditional apparel, handloom products, jewellery, home crafts, sports and entertainment as major attractions.
The stalls not only gave local talent an opportunity to showcase their art, but also provided an important platform for economic empowerment and self-reliance for women entrepreneurs.
Through its annual programme, the club provides new direction and momentum to women’s leadership, creativity and entrepreneurship in the community. Various cultural programs like dance, stage performances, competitions and interactive games presented by the club members and children filled the entire atmosphere with gaiety.
Specially designed activities for children, women and youth further enhanced the attractiveness and participation of the fair. This year’s event was more organized, impressive and participatory than previous years.
At the end of the programme, the officials of the Ladies Club expressed their sincere thanks to all the participants and the management of the BALCO. It also reiterated its commitment to organize similar inspiring and community engagement strengthening events in the future as well.
