In the new organisation of Bihar BJP, party veterans have been left out and young leaders have been bestowed the opportunity to work for the organisation.
Those who were in the organisation headed by the former state BJP President, Sanjay Jaiswal have been excluded in the team headed by Samrat Chaudhury.
According to the names of 38 office bearers released on Wednesday, preference has been given to the members of the Dalit, other backward and extremely backward castes. There are 12 Vice-Presidents, 12 Secretaries, five General Secretaries in the new team reconstituted keeping in view the next year’s Lok Sabha elections.
Senior leaders like Sushil Kumar Modi, Radhamohan Singh, Nand Kishore Yadav, Ravi Shankar Prasad are out of the list. Devesh Kumar, Nitish Mishra, Sanjiv Chaurasiya who were Vice Presidents earlier have been denied berth in the new team.
Dalit youth leader, Shivesh Ram has been made general secretary and another dalit young leader, Guru Paswan is new secretary. Ratnesh Kushwaha, another young leader of the Kushwaha community has been accommodated as secretary.
