The campaign of Bilaspur Police in Chhattisgarh against narcotics and illegal drugs has been shot and sent in the YouTube channel to widen awareness base.
In the video film, Bilaspur Police Inspector Paurus Purre, Pradeep Arya, Kamla Pusam, Naveen Dewangan and others played prominent roles. It was launched in YouTube channel to facilitate YouTube viewers to watch it on mobile, TV, desktop, laptop etc. The clip was uploaded at a program in Chhattisgarhi language called Rang Rang Ke Nasha organized at Lakhiram Aggarwal Auditorium, Bilaspur.
Representatives from the NGOs, NCC, NSS, school children and teachers, Prajapati Brahmakumari, Saksham Sanstha counsellors, police officers and workers of social organizations in the district were present on the occasion.
The Bilaspur police is running an awareness and action campaign called Nijaat (riddance) against narcotics and illegal drugs in the district. Drug addiction causes economic, social, family and mental harm and as part of a campaign by the police and other supporting organizations, people were motivated to get rid of drug addiction and lead a good life.
The approach has yielded the desired results as many people have quit drug addiction and are living a happy life. Their experience has been shared in the success stories.
Due to reduction in crime under Nijaat, people in the district are filled with enthusiasm and city residents, public representatives, Bollywood and Film stars of Chhattisgarh, national and international organizations are also praising Bilaspur Police and supporting the campaign.
Under the Nijaat campaign, daily awareness program is being conducted by all the police stations to prevent crime against drugs. The crime graph has considerably come down.
