Bolani Ore Mines under Odisha Group of Mines of SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) has recorded its best ever production in the month of June 2024 thus setting a new benchmark in its production history.
The total production during the month reached an impressive 6,50,385 Tons, surpassing the previous best of 6,48,438 tons recorded in June 2023.
The department specific production figures also reflected this outstanding performance. The department production in June 2024, was recorded at 5,23,590 tons which surpassed the previous best of 4,81,271 tons achieved in June 2023.
The department’s production in the first quarter stood at an unprecedented 14,23,655 tons, surpassing the previous record of 13,46,723 tons set in the first quarter of 2023-24.
In addition to these milestones, Team Bolani set a new record for the dispatch (sale) of dump fines through road transport in June 2024. The total dispatch reached 1,38,227.18 tons, surpassing the previous best of 1,11,285.75 tons registered in July 2022.
The strategic initiatives taken by the team and its commitment to continuous improvement have helped to achieve this remarkable feat.
