The One-Day Rashtriya Karmayogi Program was organised at the HRDC and BMDC under the HR–L&D Department of SAIL-Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) from 5th October 2025 to 10th February 2026, with participation from employees representing various departments across the Plant.
The programme was designed to strengthen capacity building, enhance professional competencies, and foster a culture of continuous learning and service excellence among employees.
During the said period, 57 Master Trainers, developed by two Lead Trainers of BSP, conducted the One-Day Rashtriya Karmayogi sessions and successfully covered 3,735 employees of BSP. Owing to this extensive outreach and effective execution, BSP secured the highest position among all units of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), marking a significant achievement in the domain of structured capacity development initiatives.
Out of the 57 Master Trainers, 15 displayed exemplary commitment, leadership qualities, and exceptional understanding of the programme modules, thereby setting a benchmark in delivery and engagement. In recognition of their outstanding contribution, a felicitation ceremony was organised at ISpat Bhawan.

Mgr., HME, BSP; B. Gopal Rao, JM, HR-M&U, BSP; and Anil Nathuji Bhave, AGM, CMM, BSP were felicitated for their exceptional performance and dedication in successfully conducting the training sessions.
Pawan Kumar, ED (HR), BSP, graced the occasion as Chief Guest and lauded the dedication and professionalism exhibited by the 15 top-performing Master Trainers. In his address, he underscored the importance of aligning individual growth with national development goals and emphasized that initiatives such as the Rashtriya Karmayogi Program play a pivotal role in enhancing efficiency, accountability, and innovation in public service delivery. He further highlighted that behavioural and attitudinal transformation is integral not only to workplace excellence but also to personal growth and responsible citizenship.
The programme extensively covered themes related to attitudinal and behavioural change, encouraging employees to cultivate a positive and motivated mindset in serving both the organisation and society. The dignitaries present at the ceremony expressed their appreciation for the interactive sessions and practical insights shared by the Master Trainers, which significantly enriched the overall learning experience and reinforced BSP’s commitment to organisational excellence and nation-building.
