The BJP in-charge for Madhya Pradesh, Muralidhar Rao fumed speculation in the power corridor by comparing state Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan with former cricket captain Virat Kohli.
The BJP leader has been in thick of controversy over last couple of months for his comments. While talking to reporters here on Monday, he compared Chouhan with Virat Kohli that gave Chief Minister’s critics to calculate it to the unceremonious departure of former Indian cricket captain.
However, Rao clarified that his comment was aimed to remaining in the pitch for long and complete the inning with victorious note.
The opposition Congress also took a dig and linked it to the departure of Kohli, who was removed from the captainship of one-day squad while he quit from the T-20 ahead of World Cup.
