Coal Secretary Amrit Lal Meena visited Ranchi and participated in different programmes of Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) besides meeting the state officials to discuss issues related to coal mining.
Meena arrived in Ranchi yesterday evening along with the Additional Coal Secretary M Nagaraju.
Coal Secretary along with additional secretary, Coal India Limited (CIL) chairman Pramod Agrawal visited Project Bhavan and met the Chief secretary of Jharkhand, Sukhdev Singh. They discussed various issues related to coal mining companies in the State. CMD CCL P M Prasad along with CMD, BCCL, CMPDI, ECL and senior officials also attended the meeting.
Earlier in the morning, the Coal secretary visited Jharkhand Sports Academy and interacted with the sports cadets enrolled there. Jharkhand Sports Academy is a CSR venture of CCL which operates jointly with the Jharkhand State Government. The cadets of the academy have won medals at international and national level competitions and brought laurels to the state. Meena reviewed the infrastructure facilities and motivated the cadets to perform to the best of their abilities.
Meena also inaugurated the renovated auditorium and the online hospital management system at CCL Gandhinagar hospital. The online hospital management system is an effort by CCL towards automation to enhance transparency in the functioning. He also launched CCL’S first E Vehicle. CCL has highered 16 E vehicles as a part of its effort to reduce carbon transmission.
Speaking on the occasion, Meena said that every effort should be made to provide the best medical facilities for the stakeholders. He congratulated the hospital management for the implementation of the Hospital Management System and stated that digitalization of services will be beneficial for everybody.
Pramod Agrawal, Chairman, CIL stated that CIL’s hospitals played an outstanding role during the Covid pandemic and he expressed confidence that the doctors and paramedical staff will work with the same zest in future.
R B Prasad Director (Operation), H N Mishra Director (Personnel), B Sairam Dir (P&P), P K Mishra Dir (Finance), Pankaj Kumar CVO CCL , Dr Mita Paul CMS CCL and other officials were present on the occasion.
Amrit Lal Meena Secretary(Coal) visited CCL Gandhinagar hospital, Ranchi. He inaugurated the hospital management system (HMS) which will improve the efficiency and transparency through digitalisation. He inaugurated the renovated conference hall and interacted with doctors.
